Air Bag System: 8B-80
NOTE
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
• Reconnect all air bag system components, ensure all components are properly mounted.
• Clear diagnostic trouble codes (Refer to “DTC Clearance”), if any.
• Repeat “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
4 DTC B1073:
Measure voltage from “L70-17” and “L70-6” terminals to
body ground.
Special tool
(A): 09932–76010
DTC B1075:
Measure voltage from “L70-16” and “L70-5” terminals to
body ground.
Special tool
(A): 09932–76010
With ignition switch ON, is voltage 0 – 1 V?
Substitute a known-
good side sensor and/or
SDM and recheck. DTC B1073:
Repair short from “GRN/
WHT” or “GRN/BLK”
wire to power circuit.
DTC B1075:
Repair short from “GRN/
YEL” or “GRN/ORN” to
power circuit.
