How to Perform a Dynamic 2 Plane Procedure
Add a Trial Weight to Plane A
Typically, you add the trial weight to plane A and perform Plane
A’s trial run – and then repeat the trial weight / run procedure for
plane B.
•
From the
Initial Run
screen, press an Enter button. The
Balancer – Trial Weight
TW A1
screen displays.

If you wish to perform a trial run for Plane B first, press the
Plane
B
function button to display Plane B’s
Trial Weight
screen.
•
Stop the machine.
•
On the Microlog, enter
the
Trial Weight
,
Angle
and
Radius
for the trial weight you
are attaching to Plane A.
The
Rotor Mass
field is used if you wish to have the Microlog
estimate the trial weight. Reference the
How to Estimate Trial
Weights
section below for detail.
Trial weights are typically attached at zero degrees (the trigger
reference).
Unless you wish the Microlog to estimate a trial weight, the
Radius
entry is not necessary, so long as you position the trial,
correction, and trim weights at the same radius.
•
On the machine, carefully attach the precise weight at the precise angle and radius
specified. Balancing results depend greatly on the precision of your measurements
and actions.
