How to Perform a Conveyor Idler Roller Survey

 

 

How to Digitally “Note” Faulty Idler Rollers 

As the survey takes place, the Idler Sound Monitor’s four acoustic measurements are 
continuously stored in the Microlog’s memory approximately every 1.6 seconds.

From the traffic light indicator screen, press the shift key (zero / up arrow) and then

 function button.  All data acquisition is temporarily halted and a

Use the Microlog’s keypad to enter text that identifies the faulty idler rollers 
(typically a numeric entry), and press 

OK

.  Your note is stored with the current idler 

roller data and data acquisition resumes.
