4.2.2 Gas valve proving
Gas valve proving is only active when firing on gas.
When a leak is detected, the gas valve proving function ensures that the gas valves are
not opened and that ignition is not switched on. Safety shutdown is initiated.

Step 1: t80
Evacuate the test space
With gas valve proving, first the gas valve on the burner
side is opened to bring the test space to atmospheric
pressure.
Step 2: t81
Atmospheric pressure test
After closing the gas valve, the pressure in the test space
is not allowed to rise above the switching point of pressure
switch-valve proving (e.g. gas pressure in operation x 0.5).
Step 3: t82
Fill test space
Then, the gas train is filled by opening the gas valve on the
gas network side.
Step 4: t83
Gas pressure test
After closing the gas valve, the gas pressure is not allowed
to fall below the switching point of pressure switch-valve
proving (e.g. gas pressure in operation x 0.5).
