Recommended Conditions for Face Detection

User Face Position



The user should face toward the terminal while identification/authentication



The user should stand at the distance where terminal can recognize face (not too far or
too close)



The user should not wear glasses.

Lighting Condition



The user shall not be against the light.



The background of the user shall be as neutral as possible (avoid images which could be
mixed up with the face)
