8. USAGE EXAMPLE

IMR01Y35-E3

Register a GSD file

Registering a GSD file is only performed when configuring COM-JG initial settings; it is not
necessary when configuring communication item settings.

To link COM-JG to the project, register the GSD file for COM-JG downloaded from the RKC
official website.

Click the “SIMATIC 300” folder on the screen registered with the PLC and then

double-click “Hardware” on the right side of the window.
