Zone Flags

When the present position is in one or more of the zones, zone flags in the IR
area are turned ON (1). The PC’s scan time, however, can produce a delay in
indication during pulse output. Flag allocations are as follows:

Backlash Compensation

Backlash compensation can be used to compensate for the amount of me-
chanical play present in gears, particularly when the direction of positioning
actions changes.

Setting Parameters

There is only one parameter that needs to be set to compensate for back-
lash:
