Terminal Groups
Use the Terminal Groups section of the worksheet to record the alternative
port access priority for BV1250-AP/FXS equipped units. Configure these
parameters only if the BV1250-AP/FXS unit is to be setup so that incoming
calls encountering a busy tone are to be automatically routed to other ports
on the unit.
When implemented, an incoming call that encounters an unavailable port is
routed to another port in priority order. If all ports are busy, the caller
receives a busy tone.
This is useful in the case of a Key Telephone System, where all four ports
are terminated at an Auto-attendant or IVR.

The use of this feature is optional. If not used, all calls terminate at the
individual ports of the unit.
Group (HNT)
Up to four hunt groups can be created. For each group to be created,
record the Port No.

Record a port number (1, 2, 3, or 4). The port listed in the leftmost
column will be the highest priority, with priority decreasing with each
column to the right.
There is no default value for these fields.

First priority = Port 1
Second priority = Port 2
Third priority = Port 3
Fourth priority = Port 4
Once a port is assigned a priority, it cannot be used again in
association with another group.

Calls can only be routed among the four ports on the BV1250 AP unit and units cannot be stacked in
a daisy chain as is the case with BV1250 E&M units. See the BV1250 E&M unit setup worksheets in
this chapter for details.
