Install Interface Cables for BV1250 with FXO Board
The BV1250 and BS1200 with FXO boards use a 2-wire printed interoffice
cable.
To prepare connectors for the BV1250-FXO unit:
1. For each connector, split cable and separate end of the 2-wire printed office
cable into two cores.
2. Insert cores into RJ11 connector in accordance with the following diagram.

3. Use a standard RJ connector crimp tool to secure the wires in the RJ connector.
Repeat these steps for each port to be used (maximum of 4). Repeat these
steps for each port to be used (maximum of 4), then proceed to the
procedure below, "To connect the FXO interface cables" below.
To prepare connectors for the BS1200-FXO unit:
1. For each connector, split cable and separate end of the 2-wire printed office
cable into two cores.
2. With the shielding intact, insert the cores into the 1 and 2 positions of the
connector supplied with the FXO board.
•
Position 1 (TA) = Negative voltage from PSTN or PBX.
•
Position 2 (TB) = Positive voltage from PSTN or PBX.

3. Once the cores have been inserted, press the top of the connector to secure the
wires in place.
