4.3 Board 

Installation

A line interface board must be installed in a new BV1250 base unit.

4.3.1  Install Line Interface Board

A Line Interface board (AP, E&M/E&M-OD or FXO) must be installed in
the BV1250 base unit for the unit to operate. If the Line Interface board is
an E&M type, it may also be necessary to configure board DIP switches.

To remove Base Unit chassis cover:

1.

 

Remove six screws securing Base Unit chassis cover.

2.

 

Push the hook that is located on the back side of unit and lift up the chassis
cover. Then slide the chassis cover back from the chassis until clear of the
locking tabs.

Slide the chassis cover back from the chassis until clear of the locking tabs.

4.

 

Lift chassis cover clear of chassis.

5.

 

Store cover in a safe location.
