Set up a new tone by configuring the following parameters.

For a

Period

(a fixed time during which a tone is produced), configure

the tone parameters for one or more

Cyles

. The tone parameters

include:

•

Number of

Cycles

in a

Period

is a maximum of 10.

•

Time

: The duration of the tone

Cycle

. The maximum duration of

a tone is 10000 msec. Input in 10 ms increments.

•

Frequency

: Tone frequency configured at 0 to 3999 Hz.

•

Send Level

: Tone volume configured at from 1 to 99 dB.

•

Modulation Frequency

: Configured at from 0 to 3999 Hz.

•

Modulation Rate

: Configured at from 0% to 200%.

Example:

US Ring Back Tone (RBT) has a period with 2 cycles.
The first cycle is 950ms and the second cycle is 400ms.
Each of the cycle has only one frequency. The first cycle
has 425Hz and the second cycle has 0Hz.

Once the tone configuration is complete, click the

Save

button to

save the tone to a customer tone set. Click the

button will also

cause the Save dialog to be displayed.
