Oki BV1250 Installation Guide

5.3  Install Maintenance Console Software

The MCS software is shipped on CD-ROM.

To install the MCS:

1.

 

Turn on power to the computer on which the installation will be performed and
start Windows.

2.

 

Insert MCS Setup CD into the computer's CD drive.

3.

 

Click on the Window’s 

Start

 button located at the lower left-hand side of the

Windows desktop and select the 

Run

 command.

4.

 

In the Run dialog box, type 

D:Setup, 

where "D:" represents is the letter of

the CD drive, and click on the 

OK

 button.

5.

 

Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the MCS
installation.

The installation routine will install the MCS software and will add the menu
item, “IVG Maintenance Console Software V5.0” to the Windows
Start/Programs menu. Select this item to start the MCS software program.

The default main directory for all installed MCS files is

 

C:/Program

Files/CONS50
