Affix Maintenance Label

A maintenance label is supplied with each BV1250 base unit. This label is
affixed to the rear of the unit.

To affix the maintenance label:

1.

 

Locate the maintenance label position at the rear of the base unit.

Figure 4-7: Maintenance label placement

Peel backing from the label.

3.

 

Align the label with proper location at the rear of the unit as shown in Figure
4-7.

4.

 

Stick the label into place and press to assure complete contact with mounting
surface.

5.

 

In the case of a base unit containing an E&M board, use a pen to write the E&M
DIP switch configuration information in the space provided on the maintenance
label as shown in Figure 4-8.

If ports are configured differently in order to interface with more
than one PBX type, include information on the label indicating the
settings for individual ports.
