Repairing FAN FAIL faults in an LCEI frame
At the front of the frame

Determine the location of the problem LCEI frame on the switch.

Check for the lit FRAME and FAN FAIL lamps on the frame supervisory panel
(FSP).

Remove the filter and faceplate assembly NTBX6012 at the bottom of the
frame. Inspect the filter.

Determine if the FAN FAIL lamp turned off when you removed the filter.
Note: If the FAN FAIL lamp turns off when you remove the filter,
replacement of the filter is necessary.

Slide a replacement filter and faceplate assembly NTBX6012 into the frame.
Secure the filter and faceplate in position.

Go to step 52.

Replace the filter and faceplate assembly into the bottom of the frame.
