Troubleshooting a customer-reported failure
No FRIU alarms
Application
Use this procedure to clear faults when the following two conditions occur.
•
The customer reports a service interruption.
•
Frame relay interface unit (FRIU) alarms are not under the alarm banner
on the MAP display.
Definition
FRIU alarms are not on the MAP banner. Post the FRIU and clear any alarms.
Query traffic and perform loopback tests when no alarm exists for the posted
FRIU.
