Using the ECU and SCSI Utilities 4-9

How to Use the ECU

You can use the keyboard to select menu items in the ECU.
To use the ECU, follow the instructions on the screen. Se-
lect the “Help” option on the Main Menu for information
about the utility. Information is also available in other menu
options by pressing

F1

for help.

Be sure to save your changes to set system configuration
parameters (see “Exit” in this section).

Read the information in the following sections for a
description of Main Menu options and how to use them.
Options are described in the sequence that they appear on
the Main Menu.

NOTE: For your system configuration, you might
not need to use all of the selections listed under
each Main Menu option. Read the information in the
following sections to select the options you need.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you make a
backup copy of the ECU diskette and any other
diskettes shipped with your system. If you do not
have a hard disk configuration, make a backup copy
of all other diskettes that ship with the system. Use
the copies and store the original diskettes.
