How to replace the Cartridge Frame Assembly

Item

Replacement and Adjustment Procedure

1. Replacement

Procedure

10. Remove 2 screws holding the cartridge frame to the cartridge base,

slide the cartridge frame in the direction of arrow a and lift to sepa-
rate it from the cartridge base.

11. To dismantle the cartridge frame, open the upper claw of the frame

assembly and needles as in (1) then slide it down (arrow (2)). 
Next, slide the cartridge in the direction of arrow (3) to remove it.

CAUTION:

Please work carefully as there is a risk of injury
from the sharp needles on the frame assembly.

Replacements related to the sensors
attached to the cartridge frame can be car-
ried out with "cartridge side plates" after
this work.

12. The I/C guide base attached to the cartridge base can be disman-

tled when the four claws are disconnected from the back.
At the same time, the plates for preventing incorrect insertion and
the cushioning spring and felt can be removed.

CAUTION:

Take care not to mistake the positioning of the
plates for preventing incorrect insertion otherwise
it will be impossible to insert the cartridges cor-
rectly.
