How to replace the Pump Motor Assembly

Item

Replacement and Adjustment Procedure

1. Replacement

Procedure

Replace the Pump Motor Assembly

Remove the Panel Cover.

Remove the Front Cover.

Remove the Panel Bottom Cover.

Remove the Right Cover.

Remove the Y Rail Cover.

Remove the Panel Cable connector and Tube Fixer (1 fastening
screw) and disconnect connector J301.

Remove the Panel Mounting Plate. (3 fastening screws)

Open the Control Box.

Disconnect connector J102 (PUMP) from the Main Board
Assembly.

10. Remove the cable clamp fastened to the Front X Reinforcement.
11. Slide the head to the left (in the center section) and remove the

entire Maintenance Assembly. (2 top screws/2 front screws)

12. Remove the two screws holding the Pump Motor Plate and lift out

the Pump Unit.

13. Remove the four screws holding the Pump Motor Assembly.
14. Assembling is the reverse of the removal procedure.

1. Carry out the Capping Position Adjustment.

Examination
Procedure

CAUTION:

Apply silicone grease to motor gears.

CAUTION:

Pass the motor cable through the round hole in
the pump motor plate.
