The following part provides an example of configuring a common two-fiber bidirectional MS shared
protection ring.

Step 2

Enter the name of the protection subnet. Generally, the default name is used, for example,
2f_MS_SPRing_1.

Step 3

Select the capacity level of the protection subnet, for example, STM-4.

NOTE

Create a two-fiber bidirectional MSP ring. The capacity of the ring can be set to STM-4, STM-16.

Step 4

Choose

and

Assigned by VC4

according to the requirement.
