Supplying Power to the Instrument

Turning the instrument on and off

WARNING

Connect the instrument’s power cord to a grounded, two-prong power

outlet.

Connecting the instrument to an ungrounded power outlet could cause the operator

to experience an electric shock.

CAUTION

When unplugging the power cord from the outlet or instrument, pull on the

plug (not the cord).

Failure to do so could cause a wire break in the power cord.
