Event Register
Clearing the Event Status Register
Syntax Command
*CLS
Description Clears the Event Status Register. The Status Byte Register (STB) bits corresponding to
the event register are also cleared. Errors are cleared as well.
Setting the Standard Event Status Enable Register (SESER)
Syntax Command

• Mask {0 to 255}
Mask value to be set
Description Sets a mask pattern for the Standard Event Status Enable Register (SESER) with a
numerical value between 0 and 255. The initial value when the instrument is turned on is
0. When an event corresponding to the specified bit occurs, “1” is set for the ESB bit of the
Status Byte Register (STB).
