Communications Command Reference

Setting the auto current limit

Syntax

Command

:CHARge:LIMit:AUTO {ON|OFF}

Description

Allows the current limit value to be set automatically.

The auto current limit function allows the current limit value to be set

automatically.

The limit value is calculated based on the charging time and capacitance value

of the DUT.

OFF

The current limit value is not automatically set and is fixed.

See “5.3 Limiting the Current to Be Applied to the Device Under Test (DUT)” (p. 64).

Example

The auto current limit is set to ON (AUTO).

Querying the auto current limit
