Communications Command Display (Command Monitor Function)

Messages displayed on the command monitor and their meanings

The following messages are displayed if an error occurs when a command is executed.
Command error (incorrect command, argument format, etc.)

#CMD ERROR

Invalid argument range

#PARAM ERROR

Execution error

#EXE ERROR

The approximate position where an error occurs is also displayed.

Incorrect argument (1E-3 is outside the range.)

IMPORTANT

When an invalid character code is received, the code is enclosed in “<>” and displayed as a

hexadecimal character/number.

For instance, 0xFF is displayed as <FF> and 0x00 as <00>.

When only a hexadecimal character/number is displayed, check the communications conditions
or lower the communications speed.

When an RS-232C error occurs, the following is displayed.
Overrun error (reception failure)

#RS: Overrun Error

When a break signal is received

#RS: Break Error

When a parity error occurs

#RS: Parity Error

When a framing error occurs

#RS: Framing Error

When these characters are displayed, check the communications conditions or lower the
communications speed.

The error position may shift when commands are consecutively received.
