Communications Command Examples

Basic measurement example

The following is an example of setting the measurement conditions and acquiring the measurement
result of a 3-second test.

Description

Sent to the BT5525 from

(1) Set the test voltage to 150 V.

The measurement conditions are set in the order in which commands are received. Commands may

be sent consecutively if they are within the input buffer capacity (1 KB).

Check the measurement conditions.

Multiple commands can be sent all together with them delimited by semicolons. Responses are also

delimited by semicolons.

The test time is set to 3 seconds.

Send the

:STARt

command and start the test.

Since the test time is set to 3 seconds, the test stops after 3 seconds.

The test status can be queried with

:STATe?

1 or 2 is returned when the test is being performed and 0 is returned when the test is stopped.

Acquire the measured value after the test.
