This is an example of setting and using the BDD function.

(1) (4) (7) Enable the BDD function at each measurement.

CC (constant current) charging is performed until the test voltage is reached after measurement

starts and a voltage fluctuation is detected. Once the test voltage is reached, measurement is

performed using CV (constant voltage) and fluctuations of the voltage and current are both detected.

(2) (5) (8) Set the BDD threshold value. A voltage fluctuation is set as a value (unit: V) and a current

fluctuation is set as a rate (unit: %).

(3) (6) (9) Query the BDD threshold value to check it.
(10)

Enable the setting to stop the test when the BDD count is 1 or more.

(12) (13) Query the BDD measured value stored in the instrument’s memory after the test completes.

The BDD count is 3, indicating that the instrument detected two current fluctuations and one

voltage fluctuation that exceeded the applicable thresholds value during CV operation. Voltage

fluctuations are output as a value (unit: V), while current fluctuations are output as a ratio (unit: %).
