When accessing a word from the PLC memory, the word in n + 2 is usually “0”
even for memory that does not use an expansion code.
Example: Accessing a Mitsubishi PLC D165

$u101 = 0165 Memory No.: 165
$u102 = 0000 Expansion code: No
$u200 = *$u100

Data in D165 is transferred to $u200.
When accessing the bit-writable memory, such as the Mitsubishi M Relay, the
following setting is necessary.
Memory number = M (address)/16
Example: To access M20:

$u100 = 0106H Model: 01 (PLC memory) Memory type: 06
$u101 = 0001 Memory No = 20
÷
16 = 1...4
$u102 = 0000 Expansion code: No
$u200 = *$u100
(Result of execution)
Data in M16 to 31 is transferred to $u200.
Bit 4 of $u200 becomes the bit for M20.
