Sostituzione filtro aria
Il filtro aria deve essere sostituito agli
intervalli prescritti sulla tabella
“Manutenzione periodica” (Sez. D 3).
Per rimuovere il filtro operare come
segue:
Sollevare il serbatoio carburante
come descritto alla (Sez. L 2).
Sganciare le linguette (1) di fissaggio
del coperchio (3).
Rimuovere il coperchio.
Rimuovere l'elemento filtrante (2) e
sostituirlo.
Importante
Un filtro intasato, riduce
l’entrata dell’aria, riducendo la
potenza del motore e provocando
incrostazioni nelle candele.
Non usare il motociclo senza filtro.
Le impurità presenti nell’aria
potrebbero entrare nel motore
danneggiandolo.
Reinstallare correttamente
l'elemento filtrante (2) sul coperchio
scatola filtro (3) e montarlo sulla
scatola filtro (4).
Importante
L’elemento filtrante (2) deve
essere posizionato nel coperchio
scatola filtro (3) con le alette orientate
parallelamente al senso di
avanzamento della moto.
Fissare il coperchio alla scatola filtro
agganciando le linguette (1) di
fissaggio.
Importante
In caso di impiego su strade
particolarmente polverose o umide
provvedere alla sostituzione più
frequentemente di quanto prescritto.
Riportare in posizione il serbatoio
carburante come descritto alla
(Sez. L 2).
Changing the air filter
The air filter must be changed at the
intervals specified in the Routine
“Maintenance Table” (Sect. D 3).
To remove the filter, proceed as
follows:
Lift the fuel tank as described in Sect.
L 2.
Release the clips (1) retaining the
cover (3).
Remove the cover.
Remove the filter cartridge (2) and
replace it.
Caution
A clogged air filter will reduce
air intake and engine power and
cause a build up of deposits on the
spark plugs. Do not run the engine
without the air filter. Running the
engine without a filter will draw
impurities into the engine and may
damage the engine.
Fit the filter cartridge (2) carefully
inside the cover (3) and fit the cover
back on the filter box (4).
Caution
Fit the filter cartridge (2) in the
filter box cover (3) with the fins
parallel to the bike's direction of
travel.
To secure cover to filter box, hook
fastening tabs (1).
Caution
If the vehicle is used in very
damp or dusty conditions, the air filter
cartridge must be changed more
frequently.
Take fuel tank to its original position
as described in (Sect. L 2).
