Unpacking

How to Unpack the Machine

Packaging and cushioning materials are used for transporting the machine. Do not dispose of them, and keep

them for future use.

X

Remove the machine from the box, and then remove the cushioning material and plastic bag.

X

Lift the machine, and then place it where it is to be installed.

For details on the installation location, refer to "Installation".

Checking the Accessories

Check that you have everything shown below.
Be sure to use the consumables supplied with the machine first. If consumables other than the supplied ones are

installed first, the life time may not be shown correctly or supplied consumables may become unusable.

Main Body

Toner Cartridge

A toner cartridge can print approximately 5,000 pages (reference value based on DTM Print GmbH tests printing sim-

plex 1 inch square black mark patterns).

Guide Rib

Power Cord

A LAN cable and USB cable are not included. Prepare cables suitable for the connection environment.
Packaging, cushioning materials, and cover toner are used for transporting the machine. Do not dispose of them, and

keep them for future use.
