Item Setting Description
SNMP ENABLE; DISABLE Sets whether to enable or disable SNMP.
NETWORK SCALE NORMAL
SMALL NORMAL: Operates efficiently even when connected to a hub with the span-
ning tree function. However, the printer startup time may become longer
when connected to a small LAN with two or three computers.
SMALL: Supports a small LAN with two or three computers up to a large
LAN. May not operate efficiently when connected to a hub with the span-
ning tree function.

Sets the method for connecting to hubs.
AUTO: Automatically selects a connection method and tries connecting to
all hubs.
Other items: Only tries connecting to hubs using the set connection meth-
od.
FACTORY DEFAULTS EXECUTE Restores the default network settings.

USB ENABLE; DISABLE Sets whether to enable or disable the USB interface.
SPEED 480 Mbps; 12 Mbps Sets the maximum transfer speed for the USB interface.
SOFT RESET ENABLE; DISABLE Sets whether to enable or disable the Soft Reset command.
SERIAL NUMBER ENABLE; DISABLE Sets whether to enable or disable the USB serial number. The USB serial
number is used to identify USB devices connected to a computer.
CONNECTED HOST NORMAL; SPECIFIC Specific: Enables printing from a specific computer connected via USB.

COPIES 1~ 999 Sets the number of copies. The number of copies setting is disabled when
printing information related to the machine.
MEDIA CHECK ENABLE; DISABLE Sets whether to check whether the paper size of the print data matches the
paper size set in the machine.
ENABLE: Detects a paper size error when the paper length is 17.5 mm or
more shorter than the actual paper.
DISABLE: Does not detect a paper size error.
EDGE TO EDGE ON, OFF Sets whether to expand the print area.
ON: Sets the margin (unprintable area) to approximately 2 mm.
OFF: Sets the margin to approximately 4.2 mm.
RESOLUTION 600 DPI; 1200 DPI Sets the resolution for printing.
TONER SAVE OFF; LOW;
MIDDLE; HIGH
Sets the amount of toner to save. When set to OFF, toner is not saved.
ORIENTATION PORTRAIT;

Sets the print orientation.
EDIT SIZE FEEDER SIZE
CUSTOM Sets the area to print when the paper size is not specified in the print data
