Cause Remedy Reference
There may be a problem with the
print function.
Execute [PRINT INFO] > [CONFIGU-
RATION] on the operation panel to
print the settings, and check the print
performance.
Printing and Checking a Report
The communication protocol is
disabled.
Select [ADMIN SETUP] > [NETWORK
SETUP] in the menu, and enable the
communication protocol that is used.

The printer driver is not selected. Set the printer driver as the default
printer.

The output port of the printer driver
is incorrect.
Specify the output port where the LAN
cable/USB cable is connected.

The machine is warming up to
recover from the Power Save mode
or Sleep mode.
Lengthen the time until the machine
enters the Power Save mode or Sleep
mode.
Select [MENUS] > [SYSTEM ADJUST] >
[POW SAVE TIME] or [SLEEP TIME] on
the operation panel, and set an appro-
priate time.

The image drum cleaning operation
may be executing.
Wait until the machine finishes. -
The temperature of the fuser unit is
being adjusted.

The LAN cable/USB cable is dam-
aged.
Connect a new cable. -
The computer has timed out. Set a longer timeout period. -
