Item Description
Maintenance Restart/Initialize Restarts or initializes the network. When the network is restart-
ed, the Web page is not displayed from a Web browser until
the restart process is complete. When the network is initialized,
information that has been set manually is lost because the IP ad-
dress is initialized. The Web page also cannot be displayed.
Network Scale This setting enables the machine to operate on the network
more efficiently. When using a hub with the spanning tree func-
tion, this setting is effective if the machine is connected to a
computer via a cross cable.
Starting the Web Page

Set the security of your browser to the medium level or enable coDTM Print GmbHes.

A password is required to enter the [Admin Setup] menu. The default password is “999999.”

You must log in as the administrator to change the settings of the machine via the Web page.
The example environment used in the following description is indicated below.

Machine name: CX86e
—
Machine IP address: 192.168.0.2
Start the Web browser.
Enter the URL (“http://(IP address of the machine)”) in the address bar, and press the <Enter> key.

For information on checking the IP address of the machine, refer to “Printing and Checking a Report”.

When including a one digit or two digit number in the IP address, do not enter zeros before the number. Doing so
may prevent communication from being performed correctly.
