6.5.2 To Connect a ThinWire Ethernet Adapter
Connect a DECstation 5000 Model 260 workstation to the ThinWire Ethernet
network cable using the ThickWire-to-ThinWire adapter.
1. Follow the instructions in Section 6.5.1.
2. Find the ThickWire-to-ThinWire adapter, the T-connector, and the T-
connector terminator that you ordered for your workstation.

3. Find the connector with the sliding lock on the other end of the ThickWire
Ethernet cable you connected to your workstation.
Make sure that the sliding lock on the cable connector is in the unlocked
position (see Figure 6–2).
