
9.1 Installing and Removing Memory
6. Locate the memory module in the highest-numbered memory slot and pull
that module straight up until it is free of its connector. Store the module in
an antistatic bag.

7. Continue removing memory modules until you have removed all that you
intend to. (You must have at least 16 megabytes of memory to operate your
workstation.) Always remove memory modules from the highest-numbered
memory slots first.
8. If you are replacing the existing memory modules with new ones, turn to
Section 9.1.1.
9. Replace the metal bracket and tighten the screws.
10. Remove the antistatic wrist strap from the system unit and your wrist and
replace the cover on the system unit (see Section 8.3.2).
