The following sections provide instructions for the removal of the top access
panel, the right side access panel, and the left side access panel.
CAUTION:
Never operate the server with an access panel
removed or partially installed. Doing so could cause thermal
damage to the hard drives or system and could void your server
warranty.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury, disconnect all
power cords and unplug any telecommunications cables before
removing any access covers.

Disconnect the power cord to avoid exposure to hazardous
energy levels that may cause burns when parts are short-
circuited by metal objects such as tools or jewelry.
■
Disconnect telephone cables to avoid exposure to shock
hazard from telephone ringing voltages.
