Server Installation and Start Up

For use with Pentium II Xeon and Pentium III Xeon processor-based servers only

Press the Power On/Standby switch to STANDBY. This places the
server in standby, thereby disabling the main power supply output and
providing auxiliary power (+ 5V) to the server. Standby does not disable
main output power.

Verify the system LED on the front panel, near the power on/standby
switch, is off and fan noise abates.

Disconnect all power cords from the server to disable all power to the
server.
