Installing Non-Plug and Play Boards
Non-plug-and-play boards must be installed after the System Configuration
Utility has been run. To install:
1.
Run the System Configuration Utility.
2.
Select the option to add or remove the board.
3.
Follow the software instructions.
4.
Save the changes.
5.
Power off the server.
6.
Add the board.
7.
Power on the server.
Bus Distribution
The I/O board in the ProLiant 6000 uses three 33-MHz PCI buses. The
following table illustrates the PCI expansion slots associated with each of the
three PCI buses.
