Replace the top access panel.

Close and lock the front bezels.
8.
If the server was powered down, reconnect all power cords and turn on
the server.
9.
Verify that the fan is producing air flow.
Replacing the Redundant Hot Plug
External Processor Fan Assembly (Fan 4)
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury or of damage to the
equipment, do not remove the internal processor fan assembly
(Fan 3) while the server is powered up. Fan 3 is NOT hot-plug
capable. For information on placing the server in Standby and
disconnecting the power cord(s), see Chapter 2, “Server
Installation and Start Up.”
