Integrated Management Display
IMPORTANT:
These instructions are for use with Pentium II Xeon and
Pentium III Xeon processor-based servers only.
The Compaq Integrated Management Display (IMD) is an integrated, 16x4
character display mounted on the front of the server. This display provides
easy-to-use, menu-driven access to server information. The following sections
provide information on navigating and using the menus.
Installing the Integrated
Management Display Option
Use the steps in this section to install the IMD option.
Installation Materials
You will need the following materials:

T-15 Torx screw driver
■
Flat-head screw driver
■
Integrated Management Display Option kit
■
Adapter Cable

equipment when installing options, ensure that the power to the
server is turned off and that the AC power cord is disconnected.
