Removing the Right Side Access Panel
To remove the right side access panel:
1.
If the server is on, place the server in Standby and disconnect the power
cord(s). See Chapter 2, “Server Installation.”
2.
Unlock and open the front bezels.
3.
Loosen the two thumbscrews and the slotted Torx screw located on the
right side of the chassis.
4.
Slide the right side access panel toward the rear of the unit 1.0 inch
(2.5 cm).

5.
Pull and remove the panel to locate the processor board and the memory
expansion boards.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot
surfaces, allow the internal system components to cool before
touching them.
CAUTION:
Never operate the server with an access panel
removed or partially installed. Doing so will cause thermal
damage to the system and could void your warranty.
