WARNING:
Do not place anything on power cord(s) or cables.
Arrange them so that no one may accidentally step on or trip over
them. Do not pull on a cord or cable. When unplugging from the
electrical outlet, grasp the cord by the plug.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not
plug telecommunications/telephone connectors into the Network
Interface Card (NIC) receptacles.
Installing a Rack Model Server
Rack Warnings and Precautions
Before beginning these procedures, make sure you understand the following
warnings:
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to
the equipment, be sure that:
■
The leveling jacks are extended to the floor.
■
The full weight of the rack rests on the leveling jacks.
■
The stabilizing feet are attached to the rack if it is a single
rack installations.
■
The racks are coupled together in multiple rack installations.
A rack may become unstable if more than one component is
extended for any reason. Extend only one component at a time.

The Installing Rack Products CD is included with the server.
