COMPAQ CONFIDENTIAL - NEED TO KNOW REQUIRED

Locate the connector labeled “LCD Connector” ” on the system board.
Insert cable into connector. See figure below.

Figure 6-3. Connecting the cable

Replace the top access panel and secure with thumbscrew and slotted
Torx screw.

Remove the plastic panel that covers the Integrated Management Display
from the front bezel.

Close the front bezel.

Reconnect the power cord and reboot.

The ProLiant 6000 ROM comes with IMD support. You are not required
to upgrade your System ROM.

The IMD should display a message similar to the following example:
