9.  Install  clutch   backing  plate.

10.  Install  backing  plate  retaining  snap  ring  (Fig.  7A -

 

105C).  Install  rollers  that  m ay  have  com e  out  o f the  roller

 

cage  by  com pressing  the  energizing  spring  w ith  forefinger

 

and  inserting  the  roller  from  the  outer  side.

11.  Turn  unit  over  and  install  the  interm ediate  clutch

 

roller  assem bly  on to  the  interm ediate  clutch  inner  cam   (fig.

 

7A -106C ).

12.  Install  the  interm ediate  clutch  outer  race  with  a

 

clock w ise  turning  m otion  (fig.  7A -107C ).

Interm ediate  roller  clutch  is  not  released  for  the  CB,

 

C D  and C L m odels.  T he sprag assem bly is released for these

 

m odels.  Outer  race  should  not  turn  counter-clockw ise  after

 

installation.  (See  Figure  7A -108C ).
