Test Screens
Before use, the ventilator is run through a series of tests identified as the Self Test. The Self Test
should always be run prior to using the ventilator. It should only be skipped in the event that patient
safety is compromised by delaying ventilation in order to perform the Self Test.
A Self Test prompt appears if there is no patient detected.

A different screen prompt appears if a patient is detected by the ventilator.

When a patient is on the ventilator, the Self Test can be skipped or, when it is safe to do so, remove
the patient from the ventilator and run the test.
