Vitals Alarm Criteria and Default Threshold Values
For Vitals alarm conditions, the priorities are defined by the duration of the alerting state as read by
the vitals sensors. For an alert duration of three or more respirations (or 15 seconds), a High priority
alarm is indicated.
Note: For alarms that are directly related to a control parameter, when the control parameter is
adjusted, the alarm thresholds are temporarily expanded to include the range between the
parameter’s current value and its new set value.
