)
The FiO2 parameter controls the concentration of oxygen in the air inspired by the patient.
Default : 21%
Range : 21% - 100%
I:E ratio (Inspiratory Time) / I:E Backup
The Inspiratory Time parameter control is used to increase or decrease the inspiratory time and
impacts the inspiratory time:expiratory time ratio (I:E ratio).

1:1 - 1:4

RR (Respiratory Rate) / RR Backup
The RR parameter is used to set the respiratory rate of the patient to a given number of breaths per
minute and impacts the inspiratory time:expiratory time ratio (I:E ratio).
Default : 15 breaths per minute
Range : 4 - 50 breaths per minute
PSafety (Maximum Limited Pressure)
The ventilator includes protection to prevent the airway pressure from exceeding a maximum
specified limited pressure (Psafety) under both normal conditions and a single fault condition. In
Volume Control mode, the Psafety shall be set directly. In Pressure Control and Pressure Support
modes, the PSafety shall be 10 cmH
2
O above the high pressure limit.

Range : Up to 80 cmH

Tapnea (Apnea Time)
When in Pressure Support mode, Tapnea is set. When Tapnea is reached, the ventilator will fall back
into a control breath mode at the set backup values of Pi, RR and I:E.
Default : 20 seconds
Range : 15 - 45 seconds
