The Tidal Volume setting is for the volume of gas intended to enter the lung during a respiratory
cycle.

Oxygen Concentration Rate
This section describes the response of the ventilator to an increase in the set oxygen concentration.
The length of time required for the oxygen concentration in the tidal volume range to change from a
volume fraction of oxygen of 21% to 90% is defined below:
Vtidal ≥ 300 ml ≥ 82 sec (1 minute 22 seconds)
300 ml ≥ Vtidal ≥ 200 ml ≥ 153 sec (2 minutes 33 seconds)
