Edits are not lost when this happens because conforming can be performed at
anytime in the future (as long as the relevant Cues remain resident on the
hard disk).
To conform recorded audio
It is advisable to use a ‘cleaned’ copy of the EDL (if not overlapping of Events
may occur in the resulting Event List).
Exit the record page.
On exiting the record page any unused program recordings will be
automatically deleted.
Press the CONFORM AUDIO SoftKey (the Event timings will be re-calculated
to match the Rec In/Out timings.
AudioFile SCX highlights each edit as it is conformed (in the main EDL
form
LL/NO SCROLL SoftKey to NO SCROLL.
This can be performed at any time during the conform.
Conformed edits are highlighted in the EDL and are therefore easily
distinguishable from un-conformed edits.
