AudioFile SCX user manual

The >> (FF) and << (REW) Transport Keys move the cursor along the Cue and
by pressing the > (PLAY) Transport Key the Cue can be auditioned from the
current position of the cursor.

The current Cue will be highlighted in the Source Stack (until recording is
completed).

Cues cannot be auditioned while RECORD ENABLE is selected.

Default Cue Names

When Cues are recorded they are automatically given a default name. The
default name has a 3 character prefix that can be changed. The remainder of the
default name is a number which is sequential (e.g. REC000/1, REC000/2 etc.).
This is the name that is shown in the Source Stack while the Cue is recording.

To change the default Cue name

Press the LOCAL DEFS HardKey.

Press the CHANGE RECORD PREFIX SoftKey.

nter the three character prefix and press the ENTER key.

Renaming a Cue

T

o replace the default Cue name

Highlight the required Cue in the Source Stack using the left-hand Softwheel
(Srce Select).

Press the RENAME CUE SoftKey

A box will appear at the top of the page for entering the name.

Type in the new name using the QWERTY keyboard and press the ENTER key.

The renamed cue will be moved in the Cue Stack according to its name.

To name a recording ‘on the fly’ (i.e. during recording)

While a Cue is recording, press the NAME RECORDING SoftKey.

Type in the desired name and confirm the choice by pressing the ENTER Key.
