Return Value

The state of the optical channel(s) when in optical mode.

Parameters

<NFORce|FORCe>

Defines how the query is executed:

• NFORce

Default value. Only the firmware is queried for the current state.

• FORCe

When FORCe is entered, the firmware checks the current condition

in the hardware. This is required to make sure that the optical

channel's electrical interface is really switched on.

N O T E

The

FORCe

query is slower than

NFORce
