Note that this value will only be used if SGEN:GLOB:SYNC:USED?

Enables/disables the
A
utomatic
P
olarity
S
elect feature. When this
feature is enabled, the synchronizing analyzer channel will first try to
synchronize the incoming signal with the currently selected input
polarity. If this fails, it will try to synchronize with the opposite input
polarity.
This feature is only available if all analyzer channels in the system are
able to select the input polarity. Currently, this is only supported by:
• E4832A (E4835A frontend) modules
• E4861B (E4863B frontend) modules
• E4811A modules
• N4873/75A modules
N O T E
It is not supported by the E4861A.
The input polarity after the synchronization can be queried using the
query
“:INPut:POLarity?” on page 246
. The input polarity is also
displayed in the corresponding property windows.
